Adoption Process

We’re excited to help you find your new family member! Below is what to expect when adopting from us.

Visit During Business Hours

• Adoptions take place during normal business hours.
• You’re welcome to walk in and view animals that are currently available for adoption.

Viewing Animals

• Animals on site can be viewed during your visit.
• Animals that are off site or in foster care will require an appointment to be scheduled so we can coordinate a meet and greet.

Meet & Greets

• We strongly encourage you to bring:
  • All members of your household
  • Anyone who lives in the home
  • Any owned dogs (for dog-to-dog introductions)
• You are welcome to participate in more than one meet and greet if that helps you feel comfortable and confident in your decision.

First Come, First Serve

• All adoptions are handled on a first come, first serve basis.
• We do not place holds on animals.

Foster-to-Adopt Option

• If you’re unsure or would like more time to see how an animal adjusts in your home, foster-to-adopt options may be available.
• This allows you to trial the animal before finalizing the adoption.

Adoption Checkout

• Please bring a valid photo ID to help make the checkout process faster and smoother.
